To my wonderful family and friends,
I've been telling people that by the time I'm through all of this, I basically will be the Black Jamie Sommers: a new throat after last year's polyp surgery, two bionic hips, and now some "new lungs" thanks to all the oxygen helping me heal. 💪🏾✨
All jokes aside, this journey has been a lot. What started as hip replacement recovery took an unexpected turn with a pulmonary embolism, and the physical, emotional, and financial challenges have been overwhelming at times.
From the bottom of my heart, I thank you for your generous donations, prayers, encouragement, messages, and support. Your kindness means more than words can express. Knowing I have such an incredible community standing beside me has lifted my spirits and reminded me that I am not facing this journey alone.
Your contributions are helping ease the burden of medical expenses and allowing me to focus on what matters most: healing and recovery.
