We have added a few audition spots for Newsies Jr! Age 8-18! Auditions are October 18 and 19 and the show is the weekend of December 12th on the OWU campus. We are so excited for this show!!

Sunbury Performing Arts proudly congratulates our own Tenley Stitzer and Parker Prenoveau for their roles in CCT’s Professional Series play, Battle of the Books, written and directed by the amazing SMJ!! Parker is in our advanced acting class and has appeared in just about all of SPA’s shows, and Tenley, a recent BFA graduate in acting from Otterbein, is also our Acting the Song teacher and costumer!

Beginning acting class for ages 9-11!!

Get ready for Newsies auditions and beyond, and start learning acting technique!!

We’will Work on commercial copy, stage directions, Meisner technique, learning the “why” of our lines theater games, improv and MORE!! Sundays August 30, September 6, 20, 27 and October 4:) 3-430 $249

Learn Acting from the ground up! We will be working with the Meisner technique, improvisation, monologues and scenes and more!!

Sunbury Performing Arts appreciates and congratulates every single actor who came to auditions this weekend!! You all put it all out there and left it on the table…the level of talent here is outstanding!! Thank you to the parents who were there for every single moment leading up to auditions… ( know you feel it soooo much too, guys… I’ve been through more than 70 of these on your side!) and of course, huge thank you’s to our wonderful volunteers and professionals who had such a tough job working through the puzzle we call casting.

Congratulations to all. This is going to be a fantastic show!!
