Let's bust some myths about our “Fetch” Broadway show adaptation, where a positive environment is guaranteed! 💖
MYTH: "The show has too many mature jokes and adult themes for my child."
✅ FACT: this JR. Show is a heavily sanitized adaptation. Broadway writers stripped out all adult language, inappropriate songs and punchlines, and mature themes. It is a completely family-friendly script!👗
MYTH: "It just celebrates being mean."
✅ FACT: This show is actually an amazing anti-bullying tool! It shows kids the real-world consequences of gossip and celebrates the power of lifting each other up.
A few fun Facts about our "fetch" Broadway Junior adaptation of the hit 2004 film and musical. Tailored for younger performers and younger audiences, the show maintains all the iconic catchphrases, high school hijinks, and the famous Burn Book, while tweaking the script to be completely clean and family-friendly:) .
A Family Affair: The musical's book was written by Tina Fey, with music composed by her husband, Jeff Richmond, and lyrics by Nell Benjamin.

Spotless Plastics: The JR. adaptation was carefully edited and revised by the writers to remove all adult language and profanity, making it perfectly safe for middle and early-high school stages.
The show uses the popular theater kids—Janis Sarkisian and Damian Hubbard—as "fourth-wall-breaking" narrators to keep the story moving at a snappy, energetic pace.
No Audition Needed? One of the movie's most iconic characters, Glen Coco (who received four candy canes), didn't even audition. The actor, Daniel Reale, snuck onto the film set for free food, and the director randomly decided to cast him in the chair!
