The brindled beauty, Ollie, seems like a true ladies man with this pose. 😘♥️ His portrait now joins one I did of his siblings a few years back. Always grateful for repeat customers! Thank you, Emily.

A bit of departure from my usual style, this loose watercolor is from a photo of our dog, Finn, enjoying the hose on a hot summer day. It also shows the use of salt to disperse the watercolor, giving it that “splashy” look.

What do you think… I’m guessing 50% bear, 50% lion for this beautiful pup? Without a doubt, her floofy ‘do makes her 100% absolutely adorable! Super fun to paint this one! ♥️🐻 🦁 🐶

Say hello to Zion! This beautiful Aussie was a joy to paint… I mean, look at his eyes and bright smile! (I paint those features first so I can see them through the process!) Thank you, Krissa!

These two kids with their grandpa are now adults, but their beautiful mom loved the original photo so much she wanted it as an art piece. I’m still not comfortable drawing and painting faces (Sorry, Emily 😬) but I sure enjoyed painting this vintage tractor, and this happy memory. Thank you, Paula Picciano

Attended a beautiful watercolor class and pick-your-own-flower bouquet event this morning at the most gorgeous Wisconsin farm I’ve ever seen! The best part was seeing my teacher who started my journey into pet portraits! If you ever want to take a phenomenal (online) watercolor class, or attend her next in-person workshop, be sure to check out Windswept Design Studio (For the prettiest flower-picking experience visit Lettie’s Garden) Thank you Allie and Maribeth for a great start to the day!

Meet Waylon (left) and Lu & Tambo! They were part of a search effort to find their missing friend, Molly. Molly was missing after two days having jumped out of a car. Waylon’s mom found Molly nine miles away, where she was nearly sold! These portraits were a gift from a very grateful Molly’s mom. ♥️ Thank you, Mariam!

The beautiful Shadow was abandoned and roaming Beloit, WI for more than four months before she was safely taken to a local shelter. Immediately when she was up for adoption, Carron felt a connection, describing Shadow as her soul dog. Sadly, Shadow kept illness hidden and Carron only had her for a short nine weeks. According to Carron, those nine weeks formed a bond unlike any other dog she’s had. Pets can do this. They give us way more than we can imagine. ♥️♥️
