A's Swim Lessons Hi! I'm Ariana, I have been a lifeguard for almost 2 years, I have a Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Certification, and love teaching kids in the water!

Hi, my name is Ariana Deterding,

I am dedicated to making a positive, and uplifting experience in the water! I am 16 years old, I’m the oldest of 7 children, and I have swam since I was a young child. I grew up going to the pool, loving every moment, and having my dad teach me the basics. When I was twelve, I joined the local swim team. I learned a lot my first year, proper techniques, etc. I soo

n knew I wanted to be at the pool as much as possible. I became a lifeguard at the age of 15. I received my pool, waterpark, and waterfront lifeguard certifications from red cross. I soon learned of a WSI certification (water safety/swim instructor). I eagerly went for it, so I could teach others about water, something I love. I have taught several classes, and have loved every moment of it!
