I prayed really hard on it and I’m done being petty.
I only want what the Lord has intended for me to have.
Sometimes I feel humility has gotten me nowhere here but I had to stop and remember the depths the breaker of chains has delivered me from and that he has given me everything that I need and I know in my heart that I am exactly where he has sent me and I am so blessed and grateful to be here.

I speak the name of Jesus over my life and I trust only in him. Amen

It’s so refreshing finally having an avenue to speak my truth directly to my clients without my views affecting the shop I work in despite how much the shops reputation prior to me working here affects me.

Dont get me wrong, I love it here. I love my boss, I love the working and learning environment I have created since I’ve been here.

There’s nothing more discouraging that posting a tattoo you poured your heart into to a page with 10k followers and only getting 3 reactions because your predecessors drove the reputation of your shop into the ground with an assortment of foolery.

It has also been a task digging myself out from underneath the weight of the mistakes of others compounded with my own.

The kindest boss I have ever had closing for 2 months way before I came and giving away our established shop number with 15+ years of clients calling daily and every type of equipment you could imagine to get who eventually became our competitor disguised as our colleagues business off the ground with absolutely nothing to show for it but a hard time in return after suffering a devistating heat stroke that clinically blinded him and subsequently ended his successful tattooing career did not help either.

Our pastor always says your troubles begin when you start following the lord and once our boss gave his life over to god and ran off all the drunks and tailgaters our business began to decline leaving a legion of fairweather friends in its wake.
In fact the most disrespectful, cheap ass, entitled folks I have had to deal with here all had this one thing in common to say: I know Raymond Roberts.. as if that somehow gave them license to be a disrespectful piece of sh*t in our shop. We will not miss anyone that acts like this btw.

Starting over from scratch in a new town sucked but i adapted and overcame.

It has been even more difficult separating myself from the box people like to group every artist in this town into.

Despite all this I have thrived here on elbow grease and raw talent alone and that should speak volumes about me as a person and a professional.

Just know this. We are not all the same. I am not my shop. I am my shops pride. Les Playcool.
I am on another level artistically and it’s time for me to act like it regardless of how many detractors it creates.

Chances are some of you are here today because you’re tired of the same old s**t.

I promise I only have 1 more long post that im saving for tomorrow then everything should be off my chest and out in the open so I can continue moving forward without all this weight on my gigantic heart.

Firstly, I would like to thank all of you that took the time to follow my new page.
I know my first post was a little intense but sometimes you just need to set clear boundaries you know?
So if you are reading this you have my respect.

On days that I dont have any bookings I will be offering select pieces that I would love to see in my portfolio at a ridiculously reasonable price that will only be available to followers of this page starting tomorrow.

They will only be available at this price on the day I post them and I will only have time for 1 per day and if there arent any takers by 5 p.m. the day they are posted they will be taken down and we will try again my next slow day so be sure to stay tuned in moving forward.

I feel I need more full color American Traditional in my portfolio so that is the area I intend to focus on this month so if you are a collector of this style keep an eye out tomorrow at 10 a.m.

Remember my golden rule: I support those who support me.

I pay very close attention to those that are liking my pictures and sharing my content so if you are showing up now while Im starting over trust me it is not going unnoticed and I truly appreciate the love.
You are the ones that will get the best of what I have to offer.

Hey, I’m Les but my homies call me Bless. Welcome to my new page. I’m a 25+ year professional tattoo artist from Dallas. I moved out to Sulphur Springs almost a year ago to escape the pressures of big city living and somewhere in there I fell in love with this town. I found God here, I made the best friends I could ever ask for here. I love America and I love the Lord Jesus Christ.
I’m currently at The Highwaymen Ink USA working for the greatest guy I know.

I’m still a work in progress as far as customer service goes and it’s taken a few months of this quiet country life to soften my edges but I’m coming around. (2 Corinthians 5:17)

I have gained extensive knowledge and experience with just about every type of tattooing over the past 25 years. I do the cleanest line work, the smoothest shading and I especially love full color tattooing and I’m great with Cover-Ups. My prices are a little higher than your average local tattooer but if you compare the quality of my work with any artist in the area you will understand why. 😉

My favorite customers are the ones that have an idea of what they want whenever they consult with me because I’m an excellent tattoo artist but I’m a terrible salesman.

I respect how hard you work for your money and I realize the economy is different in the country but this is not a 3rd World Country.

You can expect to pay around $150 per hour for my services but if it’s something I’m excited about tattooing it will surprise you how reasonable my pricing can get.

I don’t have much patience for haggling or entitlement whatsoever so if you cant match energy with me or you think it’s appropriate to insult my integrity by bickering over my pricing there are other shops in the area that tolerate that sort of thing and I kindly ask you go there instead because your $40 isn’t going to make me or break this shop.

If you’re looking for an experienced, ethical artist that cares about the quality of his work, does custom work, posts healed photos and doesn’t treat my shop like the trap then I am definitely your guy.

I book appointments 24/7 in advance for all you nightowls.
