Truth. Beauty. Goodness.

These are not ideas that survive on their own. They must be protected, cultivated, and lived.

As I reflect on the course of civilization, I find one irony impossible to ignore:

“The greatest irony of civilization is this: truth, beauty, and goodness do not survive by accident. They must be fought for. Yet our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the powers of the unseen world that seek to corrupt them. Why, then, do we insist on seeking first the physical weapons of war?”

What I’ve learned from creating thumbnail sketches is that they are much more than practice exercises. They are fragments of future works.

Before a painting ever reaches the canvas, it often begins here, in charcoal and watercolor. These studies allow ideas to grow, compositions to evolve, and visual relationships to emerge. Many of the large-scale paintings you see in the studio first existed as these small explorations.

Every finished work begins with a single idea.

Behind the scenes of Redimi2’s latest music video, “NCB 20A - No Canto Basura.”

We were honored to welcome Redimi2 and the production team from Parabola Films into CintrónVidal Art & Design Studios as portions of the music video were filmed among the original artworks of artist Samuel Cintrón.

In this behind-the-scenes footage, Samuel Cintrón shares a glimpse of the studio setup, highlights several of the original paintings featured throughout the video, and introduces film producer David Jassir, whose creative vision helped bring this powerful project to life. The scene being filmed is Chapter 1, “Dali,” a visually compelling segment that brings together music, storytelling, and fine art.

It is always inspiring to witness the intersection of music, visual art, storytelling, and faith, especially when creative collaborations bring together artists from different disciplines in pursuit of a shared vision.

Have you spotted the Samuel Cintrón artworks that appear throughout the music video?

Watch for the paintings, the symbolism, and the details hidden throughout the production.

There is something profoundly beautiful about the way art has the power to unite both purpose and people.

Qué hermoso es cuando el arte encuentra la manera de unir propósitos y personas.

Some time ago, I had the privilege of meeting this dear friend and, today, watching him film his latest music video inside my studio, surrounded by original works that carry fragments of my story and artistic soul, reminded me that creativity can also become a bridge between visions, passions, and destinies.

Several original paintings by artist Samuel Cintrón appear quietly throughout the video, almost subliminally. So take a moment to watch it in full, and pay close attention to the final frame.

Some conversations leave you creatively energized long after they end.

Grateful for the opportunity to spend time exchanging ideas with fellow creatives, discussing art, interior design, craftsmanship, atmosphere, and the role beauty still plays in the spaces we inhabit.

For Samuel Cintrón, painting, sculpture, theatrical design, and interior design are all connected through the same visual language: rhythm, composition, material, light, and meaning.

We believe the spaces we live in should not only function well, but also move us, inspire us, and tell a story.

Thank you, Neil and team, from .co for the conversation, hospitality, and shared appreciation for thoughtful design.

If you are envisioning a residential, commercial, or creative space with depth and intentionality, we’d love to connect.

DM us to start the conversation.

An evening in the studio, where art becomes more than something to observe, it becomes something to experience.

Moments like these remind us that behind every painting there is a deeper conversation, one rooted in meaning, truth, and purpose. What is seen is only a glimpse of what is being expressed.

I want to thank my wife, Lisette, for organizing my birthday party and for inviting so many people I truly care about. It was such a great surprise to see everyone there, people we love, and I was genuinely moved.

She really surprised me.

Looking back at the photos from the evening, I honestly thought we were going to wrap things up around 9 o’clock, but many of us ended up staying until 2:30 in the morning. We had an amazing time.

I also want to thank Gwendolyn, our choir director, her husband, and so many from our church who came out. It meant so much to me.

I want to thank Will Adie Rivera, my brother Omar and Amarylis for bringing the karaoke machine and adding so much fun to the night. My sister Theresa and my niece Paola .ol.a, thank you for always being willing to help in every way you can.

To my friend Micah , thank you for coming and blessing us with your voice in song. And to my friend Willie, , along with Daliza and Samantha thank you for the beautiful drawing you made and for being there.

And to all of our friends and family I didn’t mention, know that we love you dearly and are so grateful you celebrated with us.

And again, thank you, Liz. Thank you to our family. It was a wonderful day, an incredible and unforgettable celebration.

A quiet moment in the studio as a new work continues to take form.

A reminder that true wealth is not measured by what we possess, but by what sustains us, faith, health, peace, and the people who walk alongside us.

Each brushstroke becomes part of that reflection, a process rooted in gratitude and purpose.
