🎸💗 PERSEVERE — A Painted Prayer Workshop 💚⚡

I’m excited to officially invite you to a very special evening of faith, creativity, community, and support.

On September 29 at 6:00 PM, Dee Artist Hive will be hosting the PERSEVERE Painted Prayer Workshop, inspired by Romans 5:3–4 and created in support of my friend Kristi.

✨ AND YES — ANYONE CAN COME! ✨

You do not have to know Kristi personally to participate.

Maybe you’ve followed her story.
Maybe you know someone walking through a difficult season.
Maybe the word PERSEVERE speaks to something happening in your own life.

Or maybe you simply want to come paint, enjoy an evening of creativity and community, and support someone along the way. 💗

You are welcome here.

🎨 We’ll be painting the Keep on Rockin’ guitar design together while reflecting on the words of Romans 5:3–4:

“Suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.”

No painting experience is needed. I’ll guide you through the painting, and you’ll have the freedom to make it your own.

Did you know Dee Artist Hive offers painting fundraisers?

If you're raising money for a family in need, medical expenses, a school, team, organization, ministry, community project or another meaningful cause, I'd love to help you turn creativity into a way to give back.

🎨 PAINT FOR A PURPOSE FUNDRAISERS

We can create a fun, beginner-friendly painting event centered around your fundraiser, with a portion of the profits going directly toward the person, organization or cause you're supporting.

Depending on the event, we can offer:
🎨 In-person painting
💻 Online participation through a private Facebook group
🖌️ Beginner-friendly guided instruction
🎨 Custom or specially selected painting options
📦 Optional paint kits for online painters
💗 A portion of the profits donated to your fundraiser

🙏 PAINTED PRAYER FUNDRAISERS

There are also times when I feel called to offer something a little different.

For individuals and families walking through cancer, I may offer a Painted Prayer Fundraiser — a faith-centered creative experience built around Scripture, prayer, encouragement and community support.

These are especially close to my heart and are offered individually as I feel led and am able to do so.

You don't have to know how to organize a painting event or have all the details figured out before reaching out. If you have a fundraiser or cause you think might be a good fit, send me a message and tell me a little about who you're raising funds for and why.

Kids AND grown-ups could paint their very own heavy canvas trick-or-treat/tote bag — with Halloween designs for the kiddos AND a special design just for the adults! 🖌️🖤

🎈 RED… OR YELLOW? 👀

Okay, Mandela Effect fans — I have a question for you!

When you think back to IT and that creepy balloon imagery… what color do you REMEMBER the balloons being?

🔴 Red?

🟡 Yellow?

Because today, the RED balloon is so strongly associated with IT that it almost feels impossible to picture anything else.

BUT… some of us remember those balloons being YELLOW — especially when thinking back to the older Tim Curry era. 🎈👀

So now I’m curious…

WITHOUT LOOKING IT UP FIRST:

What color popped into your head?

And if you remember RED… where do you think that memory came from?

Did the newer red-balloon imagery actually replace the yellow balloons in our memories over time?
