UConn Greek IV

UConn Greek IV Greek IV exists to give UConn Greek students an outlet to explore who Jesus is and how he can be relevant to our lives as Greeks and college students.

Follow us on Instagram and Twitter! Greek Intervarsity aims to be a community of Greeks coming together to explore faith and talk about how God can be relevant to our lives as college Greeks, all while building genuine relationships with people in our chapter and others. We believe that in the midst of college and in Greek life you can experience God and even change the world around

you. When we join Greek life we grow in leadership development, gain great friends, get great career development, and so much more. Greek IV believes college is also a great time to explore what it is you believe too, especially in the company of your brothers and sisters and the Greek community. We exist to give Greek students an outlet to explore who Jesus is and how he could be relevant to our lives as Greeks and college students. No matter your faith background or belief, Greek IV is for you. What We Do on Campus:

GIGs (Greeks Investigating God):

These groups meet weekly as a space for Greeks to come together with their brothers/sisters to explore faith, read scripture, ask questions, and talk about life on a deeper level. They are usually led by a student or our staff and are a wonderful time for students of all spiritual backgrounds to come and learn more about faith and God. This is a list of our current GIGs:
-Alpha Epsilon Phi (Sundays, 2pm)
-Pi Beta Phi (Tuesdays, 5pm)
-Kappa Alpha Theta (Wednesdays, 4pm)
-Fraternity (Thursdays, 9pm)
-Phi Sigma Rho (Thursdays, 7:15pm)
-New Member (Thursdays, 6:30pm)

If you are interested in attending one of these GIGs or starting a new one in your chapter, please contact Alexa Randall at [email protected]

Greek Gatherings:

Our aim is to be a compelling community of Greeks with genuine relationships, based on more than chapter or council. GIGs are a great way to become closer with your brothers and sisters but we like to come together each month as a larger community. Our monthly Greek Gatherings are a time to get to know members of other chapters and councils. Each meeting has a topic and theme that we can discuss over food and between games. Greek Getaway/Conference:

Each semester and year, the regional and national Greek IV hosts conferences for students from all over the country to attend. Greek Getaway is a time for students in New England to come together and talk about Greek life at our schools, hear from Greek IV staff, and spend time reflecting on our faith with God. There are multiple Greek Conferences each year that students from across the country attend. It's a weekend event with workshops, amazing speakers, and an awesome dance party. ServeUP:

This is our alternative spring break trip that we have every year. This is no ordinary ASB. We work to help rebuild the impoverished and broken parts of New Orleans or Tampa, as well as have conversations at night about where God fits in the midst of the brokenness and poverty that we are seeing around us. This is an amazing trip that you do not want to miss! We welcome people from all religious backgrounds and actually encourage them to come!
