✨ If you know me personally, I’m definitely guilty of being a yapper. 😅

If that’s not your thing and you only wanna hear about painting, that’s OK too. 🎨

But for me, I’m gonna yap. 🗣️

This might make some people uncomfortable. But life is just uncomfortable sometimes. ❤️

My dad passed away in 2022. I wish I could say I handled it better, but you live and you learn. And really, painting is not my thing—I’d rather be out running. 🏃‍♀️ That is a story for another day, but until I’m approved to rack the miles up again, this has become my outlet. Who knows? I may run and paint when this is all done! 🎨🏃‍♀️

Anyway—my uncle and my dad are pretty much twins. So in my millennial search for healing, I thought, how fun would it be to give my uncle a Father’s Day poster and hopefully heal a little bit of the sadness I have that my dad isn’t here. 💙

Oddly, it almost did the opposite, as I completely scrapped the first version. 😬 But thankfully, my husband knows how to talk me down(Saint 😇), and I went back out with a new perspective. I created an entirely new design and had so much more fun the second time around! ✨

No rulebook says you can’t change your mind! 🙌

To my family members, I hope you see the resemblance here. Please feel free to chime in if you know who this is—but don’t tell him just yet so he’s surprised. 🤫

If I didn’t think he’d hunt me down for posting his picture on social media, I would be sharing it with the world to get their opinion on the resemblance. 💁🏼‍♀️
