About the Center
The Averitt Center for the Arts uses the Center for Performing Arts as a multi-purpose venue to encompasses a variety of spaces for visual and performing arts. The space holds the Rosengart Gallery which displays an array of pieces provided by the Statesboro Regional Art Association. In the rear of the building is the Whitaker Black Box Theater. This intimate performance venue seats 80 and holds performances throughout the year. The center also houses dance studios that are used by the Statesboro Youth Ballet. The center helps us maintain our mission of providing quality arts opportunities for all members of our community.

Artists' tools + artists' creativity = awesome artworks on display now in the Rosengart Gallery on West Main. The Rosengart is one part of the Averitt Center for the Arts' city campus.
The Statesboro Regional Art Association is exhibiting there now. Please visit the art gallery during afterschool hours when the ballet and acting classes are in progress. Many paintings and ceramic pieces are available for purchase. Stop by soon.
BORO ART & CULTURE: Did you know that just off the Blue Mile is the Rosengart Gallery Fine Art and Gifts. The Rosengart Gallery features artwork created by members of our own Statesboro Regional Art Association. Original works available include watercolors, acrylics, oils, mixed media, drawings and fine ceramics. Stop by and check it out!
