This is gonna be a twofer

Meet Justin he's half of the shared braincell, LDE one and only B-Roll always not far behind me, the only person willing to drive into the uncertain Vermont wilderness to camp at an abandoned radar base.

Today is also his birthday so let's all wish him happy birthday!!

Westmoreland Glass Works

The Westmoreland Glass Company was founded in 1889 in Grapeville, Pennsylvania, and became one of the most well-known names in American glassmaking throughout the 20th century. The company earned a reputation for its high-quality hand-pressed glassware, producing everything from table sets and decorative pieces to its famous milk glass, which became a household favorite in the 1940s and 1950s. Westmoreland’s skilled craftsmanship and intricate designs helped it stand out among competitors, making its pieces highly collectible even decades later.

However, as demand for handcrafted glassware declined in the late 20th century, the company struggled to keep up with cheaper mass-produced alternatives. Westmoreland Glass ultimately closed its doors in 1984, leaving its once-bustling factory abandoned. For years afterward, the empty building stood as a quiet reminder of Pennsylvania’s rich industrial past—its silent kilns and dusty molds marking the end of an era when artistry and industry met in fire and glass.

Lost Dog Exploration — started in 2024 by childhood friends Buddy Nash and Justin Wian, who still haven’t learned how to stay out of trouble (or out of abandoned places). We basically just kept doing the same stuff we did as kids — exploring, getting lost, and pretending we know where we are.
Now we call it “urban exploration” so it sounds cooler.
