Finally put the finishing touches on this and calling it good. Actually-I'm calling it "Chip-chunk". It's not a Chipmunk but a Golden Mantled ground squirrel but when my family and I saw him while eating outside and he was coming up to our feet to eat french fries my son said "That's a Chipchunk!!" because he was definitely not nutritionally challenged -which it what inspired the painting in the first place šŸ˜‚šŸ¤£

The ā€œChip-chunkā€ is coming along nicely.

Iā€™ve been quite inactive during the summer from painting! Iā€™m finally settled back home and motivated to get back in the studio. Just finished the block in on this little guy -not to be confused by a chipmunk. He is a golden mantled ground squirrel. He was begging for our french fries during a visit to South Fork, Colorado. Hope to post the finished painting soon.

I decided that my set of three needed to be a set of four! Just finished.

Iā€™m sure most of youā€™ve heard the term one bad apple spoils the pot. I can attest to that as I get 5 to 7 scammers a day, yes a day! Inquiring about my artwork! Now, itā€™s entirely possible that maybe one or two are actual honest inquiries, however I have completely stopped answering and acknowledging the messages due to the fact that I do not have time or patience to w**d out all the thieves from the actual potential customers. So if you have been, or are, a legitimate person interested in buying, I do apologize for ignoring you, but Iā€™m not answering anymore messages on FB. Anything that is currently sale can be found on the Website.

This is a study that I just started. I spent two days in Sedona and this is what I came home inspired to paint! All the beautiful pictures of the gorgeous red rocks that I took in Sedona and this is what Iā€™m inspired to paint?!? Does anyone else find that odd? Theyā€™re actually is a story to it but you have to wait until I post the finish painting. :) iā€™m excited to bring this Diamond back to life on canvas!

I am proud and honored that my painting was accepted and published in the Willow Creek Journal from Creede, Colorado. The best part is that my Son's poem was published on the same page. Only fitting because his rock stack was the inspiration for the painting!
