Getting to play with some of our favorite bands and influences along with getting to live on the road. Torn at the Seams formed in August of 2014 by the founding members Zach Moore (Drums), Zack Galbierz (Bass and Clean Vocals), Jake Brase (Unclean Vocals), and Connor Doolin (guitar). We recorded our first attempt of our EP in October of 2014. All of those songs but 'No Captain Like Morgan' are ba
sically trashed. We had our very first show ever on January 10th, 2015 at the Battle For Pointfest at Pops in Sauget, IL. Even though we didnt make to the next round, we still had a fun time playing music and making new local friends. We had a good amount of shows with this lineup all of the way up until May. Playing from STL to Cape Girardeau in a short 5 months. In June we announced the departure of our Vocalist Jake Brase and brought in a new guy that brought so much to the table with his talent and crazy ranges. His name is Stephen Lannom and he, to this date is our current vocalist. We didnt do much in June of 2015 because we wanted to prepare him and get him show and tour ready. Once July reached our guitarist Connor departed ways with us. So Zack switched from Bass to guitar and is still to this day playing guitar and doing clean vocals. Leaving our bass position open. We had multiple people try out and we came to a Conclusion that Ben Chappell was a great fit for what we were going for. He brought alot to the table with screams and great bass playing. Our first show with the new lineup was at fubar on October 4th. On October 17th 2015 we left for Ohio to record or first debut release off of our first EP entitled 'Karma Never Dies'. We had a blast recording and experiencing new things and meeting our engineer Jake Nolan. On November 4th we released our new single to the public and got alot of positive feedback from it. As the month rolled along we wrote our EP and in December we went back to Ohio to record it. Having 'Karma Never Dies' already recorded. We went in and recorded 'Cursed With A Blessing', 'No Captian Like Morgan', 'Holding Your Life', 'Hollow Hearts', and 'Voicless Generation'. On January 10th 2016, in honor of our 1 year anniversary of our first show, we released our next song 'Cursed With A Blessing'. 7 days after that we had our very own headlining EP release show at Fubar lounge and it was Sold out. We were extremely humbled by the turn out and couldnt have been more honored. About 2 weeks later we brought in a new addition to the band Mike Miller as our lead guitarist. We became super close and have grown nothing but love and respect for that man. One of the nicest guys you will ever meet. Unfortunately in April we departed from Mike because there was musical differences. As the month rolled on and as we got into May, we decided to part ways with our bass player Ben Chappell due to differences in the band. He was apart of the writing process of our EP and we were proud to have him apart of that. We have nothing but love and respect for him. So that left drummer Zach, Guitarist and Clean Vocalist Zack, and Unclean/Clean vocalist Stephen. About 2 weeks later we brought our bass player we have to this date in. He goes by the name Toby Fowler. We couldnt be any more proud of the lineup we have now. Shortly after inquiring Toby we got lucky enough to get offered a contract by our management, Ambiguous Management Group and to this day we are still apart of their amazing roster and we couldnt be more thankful to have these amazing people managing us. Late June and Early July we were offered by This Is Me Breathing to tour with them for 7 days and we respectfully took the offer. We hit up Kansas, Colorado for 2 dates, Las Vegas, Arizona, New Mexico, and then shot right back up to Springfield, MO. We experienced alot of new things and better yet, got to experience alot with each other. We are having the time of our lives playing music that we created to people we have never met before and making new friends along the way. It truly was a dream come true. To this day we are currently writing our Sophmore EP set to release 2017
