AUDITION NOTICE
Levity Players Group, a professional theatre company performing in greater Kansas City and other locations, is auditioning talented and dedicated actors. Our next audition opportunity is:
Sunday, October 27th, 2024 – 1:30 p.m.
Corinth Public Library
8100 Mission Road
Prairie Village, KS 66208

Please be there before 1:30 p.m., as the director has remarks that he wishes to share with all auditioners. The show that we will be conducting auditions for is entitled
Who’s Killing the Comedians? We present fully interactive, family-friendly murder mystery comedies.

Please bring headshots and resumes if you have them. Auditions will consist of cold readings of sides. No monologues will be needed.

This is absolutely a paid professional acting opportunity. Pay is fifty dollars per show plus tips earned from serving guests dinner and drinks. Tips have ranged from a low of approximately thirty dollars per show to a high of two hundred dollars per show. In addition, the director may pay bonuses at the end of the run predicated upon an actor’s contribution to the team. This is the number one paying professional theatre performance job in greater Kansas City on a dollar per hour invested basis.

Our wrap show for our October run will be on Tuesday, October 29th at the lovely Walnut Creek Winery in beautiful Holt, Missouri. This is a witty, funny show and the food and wine will be outstanding. Tickets are selling briskly; thus, I recommend that you purchase with alacrity.

"Murder at Madam Conundrum’s or Ghost Who’s Coming to Dinner"

Every year, Madam M.H. Conundrum invites seekers to her parlor of spiritual enlightenment for her Halloween season supper and séance. This year, Madam Conundrum is killed. A spirit is summoned, a hidden agenda is revealed, and the police investigation is pursued. All of the characters have ample motive, opportunity, and means to kill the psychic. This is a spooky show, but it is not gory. The talented actors of Levity Players Group will present this show on Tuesday, October 29th,
2024. Seating will commence at 5:00pm and the show will commence at 6:00pm.

The show includes a delicious three course dinner from Walnut Creek. This is a great Halloween seasonal show. Please save the date for this unique and unreproducible event.
