Sweet sweet baby
Thoughts for the day. I wonder what it’d have been like to run a photography business before social media. Before algorithms. A simple flip in the phone book or a click on the internet. So much more to it now and I’m really just not here for it 🤷🏼♀️ I don’t create these squares or this work to beat an algorithm or gain meaningless numbers of likes or follows.
I create and preserve because it brings me joy to give moms and dads heirlooms. Memories frozen so they can look back at an image and remember ever detail, otherwise forgotten through the thief of time.
When you graciously choose me to come into your family and capture those intimate details and moments, you’re getting a mom who knows what it’s like to have her babies grow before her eyes. A mom who knows how fast those baby wrinkles fill out and how fast those first toothless smiles turn into that first lost tooth. A mom who knows how precious it is to have your little ones finger wrapped around yours, and how many of those slobbery kisses you need because it will never, and I mean NEVER, be enough.
You don’t just get a photographer - you get someone who knows just how you’re feeling in this season of your life. And I promise to bring those feelings alive in every portrait.
