Update:

Performance on WEDNESDAY, JUNE 17TH at 7:00 PM!

Hope to see you there!

Hey friend,

We'll be having our next livestream on Wednesday, June 16th, at 7:00 PM. As we noted in our earlier post, it'll be different from our first performance: You'll get to see our faces!

Of course, we don't want to pretend that everything is okay now. Changes still need to be made to combat systemic racism -- both on a legal scale, and on a personal scale.

To advocate for those necessary legal changes, we'll give shoutouts to different organizations that you can donate to and petitions that you can sign at the end of every performance.

In terms of personal changes, we've decided on two more steps we'll be taking as a team in response to the protests. For one, if policing/law enforcement topics appear in scene, we'll be sure to treat that topic with the honesty it deserves. (i.e. We won't be glorifying police/law enforcement institutions in our scenes.)

Secondly, when we return to HSU in the fall, we'll continue to cast a wide invitation for students of ANY background to play with us -- students of any race, gender, sexual orientation, etc.

Personal experiences inform improvised scenes. So, when an improv team has a more diverse membership, it has a wider range of experiences to base its scenes on, leading to more vibrant and interesting scenes.

Of course, if you have any additional ideas about how we can do better in combatting racism, please let us know! As an improv team, we are always open to suggestions :)
..ok a little corny. Sorry.

Anyways, we hope to see you at the livestream on Wednesday!

Hey friend,

In light of recent events, and in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement, we have decided to postpone our performance until a more appropriate time.

As an all-white team, we recognize our white privilege, and realize that now is a time to kneel with people of color. Right now, we feel that we should be using our platform to acknowledge the injustices happening in our country.

We encourage you to give attention to and boost the black voices around you. Additionally, we ask that you look for petitions to sign, call government officials, etc.

Finally, we encourage you to give what you can to organizations like Campaign Zero, which fights for legislation to end police brutality.

Follow this link for more information on the campaign: Joincampaignzero.org

Thanks for understanding, and we look forward to goofing around on a livestream when the time to goof is right.

We'd love to see you there! :)

Hey! Long time, no see!

We'll be livestreaming an improvised performance on Tuesday, June 2nd at 5 PM.

We're doing something different this time around. We'll be doing a more focused kind of longform piece...and you'll get to see our faces on a Discord video call!! (Tho we kinda wish we could see your cool face too...)

Anyways, hope this finds you well. We'd love to see you there!

We hope to be back next month with another performance. Until then, take care, friends!
