We have an important update on Hunter’s Toddler of the Year journey.

Hunter has slipped into 2nd Place, and we’re asking our entire Murder City Sounds family to help get her back to 1st Place where she belongs! 💜

For those who don’t know her story, Hunter is a strong, resilient little girl who has overcome challenges that most people couldn’t imagine. After spending over a year in DCFS care, she was finally reunited with her family and brought home where she belongs.

Despite everything she’s been through, Hunter continues to be a bright light to everyone around her. She’s sassy, full of personality, has the biggest heart, and can make friends with anyone she meets. Whether she’s handing out her famous “knuckles” 👊, giving hugs, singing, dancing, or making people laugh, she leaves an impression everywhere she goes.

One of Hunter’s favorite things is spending time with her 5-month-old baby sister. Her sister was born with a bilateral cleft lip and palate, and Hunter loves helping take care of her and making her smile. The bond they share is something truly special.

This family worked incredibly hard to reunite after being separated for more than a year. They currently live in a trailer with no yard for the girls to play in, but they did what they had to do to bring Hunter home.

If Hunter wins, the $25,000 prize would help provide a down payment on a larger home where both girls can have space to grow, play, and make memories together.

As artists, creators, and members of this community, we don’t often ask for favors. But today, JDevil and Lilith Dévil are asking everyone in the Murder City Sounds family,DV Nation (JDevil Fan Page), and beyond to come together for an amazing little girl named Hunter.

🏆 Hunter is currently sitting in 1st Place in her group and has officially advanced to Round 2 of the Hasbro Toddler of the Year Competition! 🏆

She is now competing among the Top 15 Toddlers, and there are only 6 DAYS LEFT in this round. We need one final push to help keep her at the top!

Hunter’s story is one of strength, resilience, and hope. After spending a year in DCFS care, she has finally returned home where she belongs. Through every obstacle, she has continued to shine with a smile that can light up a room and a heart full of love for everyone around her.

We are asking the community to rally behind a very special little girl named Hunter, who is currently nominated for Toddler of the Year.

Hunter is full of personality—sassy, loving, emotional, and fearless. She makes friends everywhere she goes and has a heart that is far bigger than her age. If you meet her once, you don’t forget her.

After a long year in DCFS care, Hunter is finally back home with her family. Despite everything she has been through, she continues to show love, joy, and strength every single day.

She is always smiling, always hugging, and always ready with her signature “knuckles” 👊 for anyone she meets.

💜 MORE ABOUT HUNTER:
She is deeply bonded with her 5-month-old baby sister, who was born with a bilateral cleft lip and palate. Hunter naturally steps into a caring, protective role and loves spending time with her. She also enjoys singing and dancing—any moment she gets, she turns it into joy.

This family worked extremely hard to reunite after a year and a half apart due to DCFS involvement. They are currently doing the best they can in a trailer with no yard for the children to play in. If selected, support from this opportunity would help them work toward a $25,000 down payment for a larger home where the kids can safely grow and have space to play.
