School is in session at Fennel, and we LOVED our first class! 🍝

Chef and Fennel owner Jackie Price recently returned from leading a food tour in Abruzzo, Italy, and brought the flavors of the region home with a special menu inspired by her trip. 🇮🇹

Our class of 16 students got to learn how to make homemade pasta from scratch, while hearing the stories and inspiration behind each dish. 🍽️

Here’s what was on the menu:

🧀 Burrata, Mortadella & Truffle Crostini
🍝 Chitarra Pasta Dough
🍅 Chitarra Con Pallottine
🍤 Seafood Tomato Sauce
🍑 Pancotto Dolce

And the best souvenir? Copies of all the recipes! 📝

Safe to say, this was one class we didn’t mind staying after for—especially since it meant going back for seconds! 😋

P.S. Fennel’s classes are BYOB. Shoutout to our tablemates for sharing their wine with us! 🍷

The premise: The Bottom brothers are struggling playwrights in Renaissance England, but with Shakespeare stealing the spotlight, they’ve got to predict the next big thing in theatre. And that is how the musical was born! 🤪

Enter over-the-top misinterpretation, Shakespearean shenanigans, and dozens of Broadway references, and you’ve got a show that’s every bit as clever as it is hilariously unhinged. 🪶

And yes, there’s still time to get in on the joke—this show runs through August 23rd! 📜

The Science Center’s Up Late event is not the elementary school field trip you remember! 🦖

From exploring exhibits after hours and getting a first look at the newly reopened McDonnell Planetarium to sampling drinks and dancing the night away beneath the city’s favorite dinosaur—this was a one-of-a-kind way to rediscover a St. Louis staple!

We’re still not over last weekend—so let’s relive it! ✨

Ste. Geneviève is one of the warmest, most welcoming towns we’ve ever visited—and it’s only an hour outside of St. Louis!

From wandering the historic streets and admiring the art around town to enjoying phenomenal meals and meeting so many wonderful people, every stop gave us another reason to race back.
