It’s been a little quiet on our page, but it has been loud at the building! We wanted to give our community a real look at the sweat and soul we’re pouring into Cypress Cafe. Here is what’s been happening behind the scenes:
The Gear: We are officially gathering our "heavy hitters!" We’ve secured our three-door fridge, a massive commercial oven for those fresh biscuits, and—yes—a salad bar! 🥗🥖
The Transformation: We’ve been peeling up old tiles (our backs are feeling that!) and painting the kitchen a crisp, clean white. But the best part? We’re currently working on a really cool mural that’s going to bring so much life to the space.
The Layout: We’re renovating the kitchen to be more efficient, opening up the doorways, and adding tons of storage. Most importantly, we’re expanding the seating and gaming area so there’s more room for you and your family to hang out! 🎳✨
The Paperwork: We’ve been deep in the books researching grants, loans, and permits. Oh, so many permits! 📄✍️ It’s a lot of red tape, but we’re navigating it one signature at a time.
We can’t do this alone. As a small family-run business, we are leaning on our community to help us cross the finish line. We have officially launched our GoFundMe https://gofund.me/8bc1c60ca to help cover the final costs of getting these doors open.
