1981 - The Force / Magnum Force performing This Cold, Cold World.
Per one of the musicians: The band originally was the brainchild of Steven Day and Arthur Carey Sr. As best we know, the original band was: Steve Day (Vocals), Arthur Carey Sr. (Drums), Steve Moscardelli (Bass), Hal Osborne (Keyboards), Chris Blood (trombone), Inman Foster (Tenor sax) and Joe Coffey (Trumpet).
The second phase of the band who were mostly on the recordings were Steve Day (Vocals), Arthur Carey Sr. (Drums), Boe Perry (Keyboards), Sean Smith (Guitar), Charlie "Buck" Bunch (Bass), Chris Blood (Trombone), Jim Arizona, Jim Cogswell (Trumpet) along with David Hoffman and or Jim Boyd (Trumpet), Frank Drew "Funky Me" (Alto sax). Frank Huston, William Bryant "Chilli" both played guitar with the band.
Marvin "Binky" Day was with the band on bass and played and co-wrote Cold Cold World with Chilli Bryant and David Hoffman. Bruce Day (Alto sax) played on Cold Cold World. Jack Vink (Alto sax) also played with the band for awhile.”
