SPS special services transportation router Kyle Guison takes his work seriously at SPS, helping to make a real difference in the lives of students.
"Every day, I know my efforts help ensure kids, no matter their challenges, have safe and reliable transportation to and from school. It's incredibly fulfilling to know I'm playing a part in their success and well-being."
Last weekend, Kyle spread holiday cheer with SPS bus drivers, including long-time driver Jane Franck, who has driven at SPS for 34 years.
But during Winter Break, Kyle has some very magical plans. He works to spread cheer as one, magical Santa in Springfield.
"Santa represents the magic of the season and the hope, joy and wonder that children experience," he says. "As a part of this community, I feel it's important to help create those magical moments. Seeing the smiles and excitement of the kids makes it all worthwhile, and being able to share that joy with others is a gift in itself."
