I found this cover interesting. I know it’s Time Magazine but it’s also a reminder that time is not promised to us and we should do all we can do to be good to each other with the time that we are given.

And I believe Dolly did just that. Her kindness like her music walked into rooms that she was never in, soothing and calming and just making life better. Thank you for being not only an incredible artist but also an authentic soul who cared about humanity in such a special way. I’ve always admired you and you will be missed especially as this world grows colder.

Foes of a Minimum Wage Guard is an award winning one man show about an aging retail worker called to work on his day off and reassigned as a loss prevention specialist without training. If he fails to protect the stores inventory, he faces termination by the ruthless manager.

This comedy/drama story is inspired by actual events during my experiences working in department stores and malls.

This play follows a working-class retail worker caught between survival and conscience, as everyday struggles, moral choices, and quiet acts of resistance collide in a system that rarely gives second chances. It’s sharp, human, and uncomfortably real.
