Foes of a Minimum Guard, a one man play, is a story of self discovery about a widowed elderly retail worker with health problems who is called into work on his day off and reassigned as a loss prevention detective without training. If he fails to protect the stores inventory, he faces termination by a ruthless district manager. This comedy/drama explores corporate dysfunction,
discrimination, and resilience.

One actor. Me. 12 characters in this 65 minute show. Literally retail chaos on a stage.

Not many indie filmmakers can say this, but I am a 2 time award winning filmmaker.

Fresh off winning a Mass Spirit Award at the Massachusetts Independent Film Festival for my short film, “The Phantom Ruse”.

But…..I don’t think I scratched the surface yet of all that I can do. This summer I will immersed myself in creating Steve Smelly shorts based on my award winning play , “Foes of a Minimum Wage Guard”.
