Our Black BBG Armageddon is back on the Loud Peppers show table Lane County Farmers Market , showing off its moody dark foliage and some seriously wicked-looking ripe fruit!

Just LOOK at that chile! 👀🔥

Deep, dark burgundy with glowing crimson-red highlights, gnarly wrinkles, and a twisted shape that looks like it was pulled straight out of a volcano!

Molten lava meets dark chocolate… with a whole lot of attitude! 😂🌋

And while the mornings are getting a little chilly here in the Willamette Valley, the peppers are still bringing the HEAT!

🍂🌶️ HAPPY SUNDAY, LOUD PEOPLE! 🌶️☀️

A LITTLE FALL SUNSHINE AND A WHOLE LOT OF PEPPER MAGIC! 🍑🔥

What an absolutely gorgeous fall morning here at the Springfield Sunday Market!

We couldn’t resist bringing the Sugar Rush Peach Stripey back out today so our Springfield folks could get a look at this beauty!

And WOW… the morning sunshine understood the assignment! 😂☀️

Those gorgeous peach-orange pods are practically GLOWING, with their fiery stripes lighting up against the golden-yellow peppers still ripening on the plant. 🌶️🍑

We’ve waited all season for this chile to show us its colors, and now it’s giving us a whole new reason to stop and stare every time the sunlight hits it!

Sweet-looking? Absolutely.
All sweetness? Not quite! 😂🔥

Between the beautiful fall foliage, crisp morning air, and all these colorful chiles, it’s hard to imagine a better way to spend a Sunday Lane County Farmers Market .

We’re here with our pepper plants, fresh garden goodies, chile grinders, jams, jellies, dried herbs, and plenty of spice!

🔥🌶️ HAPPY SATURDAY, LOUD PEOPLE! 🌶️🔥

SUGAR RUSH PEACH STRIPEY IS STEALING THE SHOW! 🍑🎶🔥

We’ve been waiting ALL season to see what kind of show this beautiful chile would put on once it started ripening…

And OH MY GOSH, it did NOT disappoint! 😍🌶️

Just LOOK at those colors! Gorgeous peach-colored pods with fiery orange stripes running down their sides. Some even have a wicked little point, almost like a tiny stinger reminding you that this beauty has some bite! 👀🔥

And don’t let that sweet, pretty appearance fool you…

It’s not a superhot, but it packs more heat than you might expect from something this gorgeous! 😂🍑🔥

After months of watching these plants grow, seeing those stripes finally come through has been one of the coolest little rewards of the season.

🔥🌶️ HAPPY HOT TUESDAY, LOUD PEOPLE! 🌶️🔥

It’s another gorgeous fall morning Lane County Farmers Market , and today’s Loud Peppers show-table spotlight is bringing some serious heat…

☢️🔥 CHERNOBYL REAPER! 🔥☢️

Those big red pods are finally ripe, and they are looking downright NASTY. 😂🌶️ Chernobyl Reaper is a rare Carolina Reaper hybrid with heavily wrinkled pods, wicked stinger tails and an estimated 1,000,000–1,600,000+ SHU.

But Chernobyl isn’t the only plant showing off today…

🧡 Yellow Murupi is BACK on the show table, and now it’s loaded with those beautiful golden-orange fall colors.

🌋 And the Black Panther pink and orange coloration has been absolutely stealing the show lately — watching those dark pods transition through fiery red and orange seriously looks like molten lava glowing in the fall sun.

The tables are loaded with fresh peppers and tomatoes, plants, jams & jellies and plenty more from the Loud Peppers garden.

What a beautiful fall morning here at the Springfield Market! ☀️🍁

These twisted, lightning-bolt-shaped chiles are putting on one heck of a fall show, with those deep purple tones giving way to beautiful peach and orange as they ripen. 💜🧡⚡

They may be pretty, but don’t let the colors fool you — Thor still brings the thunder. 😂🔥

And there’s plenty more showing off around the booth today. The plants are loaded, the harvest baskets are filling up, and the table is stocked with our jams, jellies, grinders and dried herbs.

THE FRIED CHICKEN IS BACK! 🍗🌶️

Earlier this season we showed off this wild-looking chile while the pods were still green… well, look at it NOW. 👀🔥

The Fried Chicken is finally showing off its ripe color, turning a gorgeous fiery orange while keeping those gnarly folds, twists and wicked little tails.

Pretty? Absolutely.
Friendly looking? Not even a little. 😂🔥

And after Tuesday, we have to give one more HUGE shoutout to everyone who made the Lane County Farmers Market Pepper Eating Contest such a spicy one to remember! 🌶️🏆🔥

Congratulations to the winner, and serious respect to every contestant who stepped up and took on the heat. You all put on one heck of a show! 👏🌶️

Today’s show-table spotlight is a familiar monster…

🔥 THE BEAST! 🔥

You may remember this one from last year’s Lane County Farmers Market Hot Pepper Eating Contest! 👀🌶️

The Beast was the chile used in the runoff round — and this year, it’s ripening just in time to potentially make another appearance! 🔥🔥🔥

With Carolina Reaper × Chocolate Nagabrain genetics, The Beast produces huge, gnarly, heavily wrinkled pods—often finished with wicked little stinger tails.

And The Beast might not be coming alone…

We’ve also got our God Stoppers, Carolina Reapers and Fried Chicken varieties on display today, and depending on what finishes ripening in time, they may make an appearance at the contest too! 👀🔥

💜🔥 HAPPY SUNDAY, LOUD PEOPLE! 🔥💜

We’re back at the Springfield Sunday Market, and today’s show-table spotlight looks like it belongs on another planet…

🫰🌶️ THANOS! 🌶️🫰

Just LOOK at those pods. 👀

They start out an incredible deep purple — almost black — with gnarly, heavily textured skin and dark stems to match. As they mature, those colors begin to transform, eventually working toward beautiful peach/orange tones while still carrying shades of purple along the way.

And you can actually see that transition starting on a few of the pods we brought today! 💜➡️🍑

Thanos comes from Blue Ghost × Purple Phantom genetics and packs serious heat at around 600,000–1,000,000+ SHU, with fruity, smoky and earthy notes hiding underneath that long-lasting burn. 🔥🔥🔥

This is definitely one of those plants where the journey to ripe is almost as cool as the final pepper.
