The extraordinarily gifted local photographer Drew Bandy 📷 was gracious enough to photograph a set of sensational promotional images for Queen City Shakespeare Co.'s upcoming production of MACBETH.

QCSCo. is incredibly grateful to Drew for lending his talents to create these spellbinding images!

Queen City Shakespeare Co. is thrilled to be a part of Springfield Public Schools, Springfield, MO’s literacy program this school year! We have the privilege of visiting Ms. Given’s 4th grade class at Hickory Hills School each month to read aloud from a book provided by Scholastic.

While Shakespeare’s work and other classic plays are incredible fun to perform, they are also important literature. We are thrilled to join the more than 150 other mentors from across the Springfield community to support literacy skills in our students and help foster a passion for reading.

Consider supporting our friends at The GLO Center after Shakespearean tragedy-worthy sewer main troubles! Your kindness will help them continue to offer vital support and services to our community. 🩵✨

A broken sewer main forced The GLO Center to temporarily close and left us with more than $8,400 in unexpected repair costs, with additional flooring work still to be completed. Thanks to GLO’s reserves, we were able to make the necessary repairs and reopen our doors, but those funds are meant to keep GLO strong and serving the community, so we need to replenish them if we can.

Our goal is to raise at least $8,000 to help replenish those funds and keep them available for the programs, services, and community members who rely on GLO year-round.

You can help us recover now with a one-time gift, or, even better, help us stay strong all year by becoming a monthly donor. Every gift helps ensure that when something unexpected happens, GLO can respond without taking resources away from our mission.
