We've made it to the end of the year! Congratulations to everyone on a great school year.

Now it's time for some rest, relaxation, and recharging as we look ahead to the 2026-2027 school year.

Marchers - If you've not gotten or not looked at your email - please take a moment to check out this year's band camp information packet, and be on the lookout for parent and alumni opportunities to volunteer during camp as we work to keep scholars healthy and safe in the summer heat as we work to put our inaugural halftime production "We Are" on the field!

It's graduation week!

This week's newsletter is brief but contains important information regarding this week's schedule (for high school band especially), as well as updates to the marching band calendar, and the 2026-2027 concert calendar.

This week:
- May 19, 2026 - Graduation Performance (High School Band Only)

Report Time: 5:30pm in Band Room
Dress Code: Concert Black Attire (Dress clothes)
***No Jeans, Sweatpants, Shorts, etc.

Warm-up in Band Room @ 5:30, move to the field @ 6:15.

***If weather becomes an issue and graduation is moved inside, we will move to the stage. An announcement regarding this will be made by 2:00pm on Tuesday. Stay tuned.

Graduation Ceremony Begins @ 7:00pm

Scholars will be dismissed as soon as the ceremony is concluded and equipment (Chairs/Stands) are returned to the band room.

Only 4.5 more days of school until summer! We can do it!

This evening a historic event took place at Innovation Academy - the very first meeting of the Innovation Academy Marching Band at our first-annual Marching Band Kick-off Night.

Band members received an intro to marching technique, and did their first reading of the halftime show as an ensemble.
