Darker and darker still, this blue turkey egg now finished and resting for unwaxing tomorrow. New eggs started: a riff on 40 Triangles with a blotchy gold egg and a goose egg with an intriguing star division.

Turkey egg progress this evening.

Turkey eggs are naturally spotted. The spotted areas I want to retain, I have applied the wax and then etched in vinegar. The vinegar loosens the spots and they are easily wiped away along with my pencil guidelines.

Lots of work today... The chicken egg had a dip in red, then a wash back. After a rest it will get a dip in blue tomorrow morning.
The first goose egg of this year is starting out in a diluted shade of flamingo.
And finally, contemplating a turkey egg. I'd like to try a traditional design where I can highlight the natural spots.
