Stephanie Myers Art I am a visual artist working in acrylics, oil, and colored pencil. All of my paintings convey a moment of beauty.

I have drawn off and since childhood and found that colored pencil was a wonderful medium to portray both color and detail. I started painting with acrylics and oil in 2015, but it wasn’t until I retired in 2020 that I was able to focus more on my art. Colors, reflections, and light draw my attention to objects around me – flowers, the reflections and light in a wine glass, or the brilliant colors

of fresh picked vegetables from the garden. I love to zoom in and capture the detail of fine lines, and the interplay between color and light.

I am pleased to share that my painting, "White Wine," has been selected for the Statewide Exhibition 2026. The show will run from August 7th through August 29th. The opening reception and awards will be held on Friday, August 7th from 5:30 to 7:30 PM in the M. G. Nelson Family Gallery at the Springfield Art Association, 700 North 4th Street, Springfield.
