HEADS UP EVERYONE : another figure drawing session at Cryptic Tattoo in Springfield Mo is tonight! This time we are focusing on comic action poses with props/weapons with our model Goldie, instructed by Artist Gary Bedell !

Doors are at 5 , drawing starts at 6. $5 cover for the model and this session is clothed, so we will be live streaming the session in the Clever Kaiju discord in the DEMONSTRATIONS chat channel.

The books are in our hands and the quality is more than we could have hoped for! We are currently completing the original sketches that come in each pre-ordered book and will soon begin packing and shipping. We are almost across that finish line. Thanks for everyone that has supported us and the art book. We can still take orders on the website if anyone wants to get their hands on one before convention season.

This Saturday Jan. 10th is our first figure drawing session of 2026, hosted by Artist Gary Bedell with guest model Goldie!

This year we start with a new format:

-Doors open at 5pm for a general hangout and warmups
-Figure drawing session officially starts at 6pm.

This event will be 18+ only and NOT live streamed. $5 cash at the door for model compensation!

A reminder that our next figure drawing session is this Saturday from 7-9. Hosted and modelled by Gary Bedell with action posing and props. RSVP on the Kaiju site!

Also, starting in January, we are changing the times. Doors will be at 5 for a general gathering/warmup/social/happy hour, and drawing in the crypt starts at 6.
