My artistic journey began with calligraphy brush painting, evolving into a distinctive style blending traditional methods with preserved flora, inspired by the wild landscapes of the Pacific Northwest. In 2024, my piece The Tamaracks Quail was selected for exhibition at the Chewelah Winterfest for the Arts—an exciting milestone in my artistic growth. For me, creating art is a joyful, cathartic process, and I hope my work brings the same joy to others, offering a glimpse into the delicate beauty of our world.

Back-to-school season is not only for families with students. It changes the rhythm of entire communities.

Schedules tighten. Evenings get shorter. People start thinking about focus, routines, and the spaces where daily life happens.

That makes August a useful time to look at your space with fresh attention. "Prairie Cosmos" may be the kind of work that helps a room feel more intentional as the season shifts.

Monochromica Magazine — Published!

I'm thrilled to share some exciting news! 🌸

My piece "Pink Flamingo in Bloom" has been published in Monochromica Magazine — Issue #010, the PINK issue — a two-page feature including my bio and artistic statement.

This 24x18" mixed media original combines real flowers, leaves, watercolor, and ink on canvas. Seeing it in print alongside artists from around the world is truly humbling. 🙏🏻

I'm seeing a lot of artists celebrating World Photography Day today and wanted to join in on the appreciation!

It's a celebration of the way artists preserve moments that might otherwise pass unnoticed. Every work of art begins with the same simple act: paying attention.

Artists notice the light, the atmosphere, the emotion, the relationships, the everyday moments that many of us walk past without a second thought.
