The Last Light is a collaborative project composed of many talented artists who call the Southern Utah area home. OK, or Charlie OlGrady-Kessner, they have come together to create new visions of songs contributed by many members to record and perform unique a blend of reggae, rock, funk, & hip-hop. They have been performing live together for some time, and plan to continue as they form an establis
hed group. What started as a jam session turned into something they never thought it would become. They had all seen each other play in their own respective bands over previous years, and had admired one another's work up until the point where they started to work together. OK) pitched the idea to the group of potentially expanding on some of his previous projects, and they agreed. Together, they put their hard work into an EP, “Music is the Medicine”, being released next Friday Feb 17th, 2023. OK and The Last Light is composed of 6 members from very diverse music backgrounds. Multi-instrumentalists, they all contribute major skills to the band. Folk, jazz, blues, prog rock, country, Americana, and reggae are all brought to the table through each member.
