Yesterday Christie Perry and I met up Nisei Gallery for a print making class. She shared all her tips and tricks with me, and let me try using her printing press. I struggled to get the hang of it, and eventually resorted back to using my baron instead😅. But it was fun to try the press. We think if I had bigger carved blocks they would turn out better with her press, so we may try again in the future.

I am so grateful for the wonderful art community that surrounds me. We help each other out and cheer each other on. Life is so much better together.

A client tearing up is the biggest compliment ever. It means the art is more than a pretty picture. It has connected with someone’s soul, and that is the whole point 🥰

“Processing Thoughts”
Something a little different than usual. One of the best coping mechanisms I have is painting abstracts. Whenever I need to work through something or let an emotion out, the canvas is always a good place to start.

How do you express your feelings? What coping strategies work best for you?

In-person class! Maximum of 4 participants, so you will get lots of one-on-one assistance☺️

It’s a two day class. The dates are September 11&18 at 6:30. The location is at my studio in Spring Run, PA.

Why paint stuffed animals ? Because it brings a little joy to the world!
I don’t need some deep philosophical reason to paint. If I can make the world a little better through art…that is enough.
