It’s been a crazy week. I wanted to be totally open with our customers and friends. We had big plans to reopen the shop and launch our online store this week, but things didn't go as expected. A quick trip to Michigan to help my daughter move turned into two surprise surgeries, the last one just this past Monday. On top of that, Tami lost a family member, and her dad needs some extra support right now. So, we’re both stuck on opposite sides of the country just trying to manage.
The good news is our new website and online store are finally ready! We just can't launch it until we’re back at the shop. Small business is tough, but when it’s just the two of us and we both get hit with emergencies, it’s really hard.
Anyway, my doctor said my stitches come out on the 6th, and I can get back to work right after. We’ll be back for the Silverthorn Craft Show on the 10th and will reopen the following week! Until then, my awesome husband has me set up with my favorite view, my sewing machine, and my paints so I can still work while I recover.
We can’t wait to show you all our fall and winter items at the show on the 10th and launch our new site!
