My family and I spent our Memorial Day weekend in beautiful Spray, Oregon; with a parade so nice they do it twice, the first-ever car crash during grand entry, and nine thousand attendees is what makes it The One and Only Spray Rodeo!

Blueberry was the perfect queen horse for the weekend of parades, pushing cows, and taking second place in the famous queen quarter-mile race! After the rodeo on Saturday, my sash sisters and I took our horses to swim in the John Day River to cool off. We ended our weekend with the Wasco parade, complete with a military jet flyover!

It was an absolute pleasure to celebrate Memorial Day weekend and honor all of those who have served, including my grandfather. May God bless the many brave men and women that have paid the ultimate price so that we may have our freedom.

Always Thankful,
2026 Miss NPRA

I rode with Miss Teen Rodeo Oregon Peyton, the Royal Champions of America Oregon Junior Queen, and Fort Dalles Riders Club Queen Valentina for the parade on Saturday morning. Queen Brenna and her family, as well as coordinator Katie, put on a great luncheon following the parade. Sandy did amazing for both grand entries, and thoroughly enjoyed pushing cattle.

I also want to give a big thank you to the owner of Midee Stitch Saddle and Tack in Yakima, George, for helping me fit a saddle to Sandy. As well as Mid Columbia Veterinary Clinic for helping her feel her best!

Always Thankful,

A big thank you to Broken Spur Rodeo Queen Ashley for letting me borrow her little mare Blueberry for the parade! Although she prefers the rodeo arena, she did amazing riding along the route. The weather was beautiful and I could smell the Cherry funnel cakes while walking down the streets.

I am so proud to wear my custom parade shirt, made in collaboration with Granda Helen, Wild Daffodil Sewing, and Fancy Cowgirl Designs!

I was grateful to jump ride Crystal, a horse of Teala’s! She tried her best throughout the clinic, and reminded me of my own fire-breathing dragon. I am truly grateful for the opportunity to use her during the clinic. The weekend was full of laughter and learning along side my sash sisters!

2026 Broken Spur Rodeo Queen Ashley Villalobos, who is also my cousin, and 2026 Royal Cowgirls of Washington Queen Bailey threw a great double coronation! I was able to spend Easter weekend with my family and good friends, and found a new appreciation for our amazing auctioneers! I would also like to thank John Longfellow for capturing the night, it truly doesn’t feel like an event without him.

I had the opportunity to spend the weekend in beautiful Elma, Washington for the Grays Harbor Mounted Posse Rodeo. This is also the first rodeo in the NPRA season!

A big shout-out to Susan McElyea for lending me her amazing little gelding Flash! Flash carried me safely through two grand entries and pushing cows. It was a great start to the rodeo season, I was grateful to catch up with my sash sisters as well.

I was so excited to break out my Stringfellow Tailored Leatherwork chaps! They looked amazing in the arena, and fit like a glove. A special thanks to Denise for her gracious sponsorship with the NPRA.

📍Salem, OR
The NPRA Finals were nothing short of incredible, and I am forever grateful to have been part of such a special weekend. It felt like the perfect way to close out a year filled with memories, friendships, and growth.

The weekend began on Thursday evening with the kickoff dinner, where I had the honor of speaking and welcoming so many wonderful guests. Sharing my story and representing the Northwest Professional Rodeo Association in that setting was an experience I’ll never forget. The energy and support in that room set the tone for the entire weekend.

Friday was packed full of excitement as we made sponsor visits throughout Salem. I was joined by so many fellow rodeo queens, and it was such a joy to travel around the city together. I was so blessed to share those moments with Jr. Miss Megan, Teen Miss Reegan, Caitlyn—the Jr. Miss NPRA 2026 Lady-in-Waiting, and Teen Miss NPRA 2026 Lady-in-Waiting Teala. Getting to meet so many wonderful people alongside such an incredible group of young ladies was a true highlight. Thank you so much to Toyota, Wilco, Coastal, and Triple H for opening your doors to us, taking the time to visit, and for the support you continue to show rodeo.

That evening brought another special moment—Teen Miss NPRA Reegan and I had the opportunity to do a live radio interview with KYKN. It was such a fun and meaningful moment to share not only about the Finals but also about what rodeo means to me personally. We closed out the night with an incredible patriotic-themed performance, and I couldn’t have been more proud to stand alongside my queens in celebrating our country and the traditions we hold dear.

Saturday was filled to the brim with excitement. Two performances kept the arena buzzing, and in between, I had the opportunity to celebrate at my reception! Receiving my contestant jacket was such a milestone moment, but what truly touched me was looking out and seeing so many of my fellow queens there to support me. Afterward, we gathered for a group photo captured beautifully by Elaines Images—a snapshot I’ll treasure forever because it perfectly captured the joy and love of that moment.

The evening performance on Saturday was particularly special as we joined together for Can Cancer Purple Night. Standing in the arena wearing purple and knowing we were helping raise awareness for such an important cause was incredibly moving. Another highlight of the weekend was having Jr. Miss Megan and Teen Miss Reegan by my side each night helping me push cows—they worked so hard and made the experience all the more memorable. I couldn’t have asked for better teammates to share the arena with!

By Sunday morning, my car battery may have died (a little comic relief to finish the weekend😂), but my heart was so full. As the rodeo season officially came to an end, I was overcome with emotion. It’s hard to put into words how much this year has meant to me, but I can say without a doubt that it has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.

I want to thank every single person who has supported me along the way—my family, friends, sponsors, fellow queens, and everyone in the rodeo community. This year would not have been possible without you, and I will carry the lessons and memories from this journey with me forever.
