Here's a look at my new painting series, titled "Where We Left Things." I'm lucky to have the chance to display them at The Art House in Jersey City this holiday season at the Affordable Art Show. If you want to see them in person, the show opening is next Friday night!

What a great night celebrating Kyleigh and Zachary at The Barn @ Perona Farms. A stunning setting for a beautiful couple! I was honored to be their live painter for the evening, capturing their dip from the end of the ceremony. By the end of the reception festivities, the painting was just about done! Stay tuned for a post once I make some finishing touches...

I also painted a portrait of the bride's late grandfather for the wedding. Since he was a passionate Yankee fan, I painted it on a Yankee jersey and it was placed on a chair during the ceremony -- what a meaningful and unique way to honor his memory on the special day.

Thanks to Ilene Keating for reaching out and having me be part of this awesome afternoon/evening. The Keating and Knight family and friends made painting the couple so much fun for me.

This past Friday night, I had the honor of live painting a amazing couple's first dance during their wedding reception at The Park Savoy. The entire night was filled with music, dancing, and love. Thanks to Emily Ann for reaching out and having me be a part of this special day! And congratulations to Alyssa and Luc...you guys absolutely filled the room with positive energy and love!

Had so much fun live painting Helmetta Day yesterday! It was such a beautiful day and the "Small Town, Big Heart" energy was on full display. At the closing of this summer's juried show at Art•Venture Flemington, I was excited to find that "Bicycle Crime Scene," my trompe l'oeil oil painting of a crumpled/torn Mickey Mantle baseball card, was bought! While I am obviously very psyched to have my artwork connect with a buyer, I will surely miss seeing Mickey in the studio. I learned a lot from that painting and it was definitely a conversation piece when it was on display. I won't paint Mickey again, but I do love painting things taped to walls, so what's next? Accepting any and all suggestions...
