Paradise Fibers is a family-owned and operated yarn and fiber shop in Spokane. We offer great prices online and at our brick-and-mortar shop as well as unbeatable customer service. We have everything from spinning fiber and spinning wheels to exotic yarns, luxury roving, and more! We also have a complete weaving department complete with rigid heddle looms, large floor looms, and yarn! We just restocked our huge selection of Cocoknits notions!

New for Summer, Urth Yarns Etesia, a breezy cotton and linen blend. This DK weight yarn is hand dyed in marine colorways with lovely tonal variations. Etesia is hand-dyed by women artisans in two studios in Mersin and Istanbul. The dyeing is done in small lots, by hand, by the same people each season.

Most cotton-linen blends sit closer to 50/50 or 60/40. Etesia is 77% cotton and 23% linen, a deliberately higher cotton ratio that softens the hand of the yarn while keeping enough linen to carry the drape and the bloom after blocking

We also put together a kit for the Breza Top by Nina Holubcova, a lightweight and super wearable summer top that pairs easily with jeans, shorts, skirts, or layered over a summer dress. Knit seamlessly from the top down, it’s an approachable project you’ll want to wear all season long.

Lots of new colors of Merino Nepps in stock! Milled in Italy from 19 micron Australian merino, these small entangled fiber balls add texture, color speckle, and dimension to fiber projects without the bulk of full roving.

What you can do with them

- Needle felt onto a base for spots, freckles, or detail work

- Wet felt into batts and 3D pieces for surface texture variation

- Spin alone or blended into batts and rovings for tweed-effect yarn

- Lay onto warps or weft for textured handwoven cloth
