Come and join us in less than one month for our one and only treasure hunt of 2026! This prize has grown to approximately $2500 thanks to generous donations! Our kick off party will be the first opportunity to pick up your treasure map to begin the adventure! Before the maps are given out, we will host a free, onsite mini treasure hunt and will have a raffle with prizes as well! Pre-order your map today to secure your spot in this adventure!

Big thank you to Cade Hardin & Tracy Lynn for their contributions to our next treasure hunt, which kicks off June 19th at Cohort Craft Brewing in Hill City South Dakota.

It’s hard to determine the total value of all the treasure but I can say it has got to be somewhere around $2500.

There will be some giveaways and an onsite mini treasure hunt before the maps come out and the searchers can begin their hunt through the Black Hills.

If you intend on getting a map for the big hunt “The Cameo”, please pre order your map at black8escaperooms.com/treasure-hunt so we can ensure we have made enough. The maps are each hand drawn and will be handed out on June 19th.

Less than 2 months away. This will be our biggest treasure hunt yet. We have received several donations to add to the prize so it’s currently valued at approximately $2,500.
Gold, Silver, Coins, precious stones, and other treasures are waiting to be found. Even if you don't plan on searching, we would love to have you join us for the kick off party at Cohort Craft Brewery - Black Hills on June 19th from 4pm to close. There will be some giveaways and an onsite mini treasure hunt. Families welcome, we always bring our boys along.

The first maps will be handed out at the event but will remain available until the treasure is found. All funds from map sales go directly to the next treasure hunt so as long as you all keep participating, we will keep hiding treasures and hopefully they can continue to get bigger. If you are planning on attending our Treasure Hunt Kick Off Party on June 19th at Cohort Brewing in Hill City and are figuring out where to stay, we have our campsite reserved at Lake Pactola in the heart of the Black Hills. For those of you interested in camping you can reserve a spot there at recreation.gov. We will be there June 19th and 20th. We will be in Loop B. For those of you that aren't camping, Our friends have an awesome historical home called The Secret Garden B&B located in Spearfish. It can also be booked through Airbnb. We are looking forward to getting everyone together for some good times and hunting treasure.

You can now pre order treasure maps for the hunt that begins on June 19th. There is over $1,000 worth of gold and silver hidden in the black hills waiting for the first person that can solve my riddles and follow the clues correctly. Pre ordered maps can be picked up starting June 19th at the treasure hunt kick off party .brewery.black.hills. The event starts at 4pm and will include some giveaways, raffle and even a small on site treasure hunt. More details about the event coming soon.

Join us for another day of fun at Secret Garden Bed and Bath in Spearfish, SD. A charming, Victorian-style home, built in 1892, is the setting for our newest escape room, "Leprechaun's Lair." Venture through the Secret Garden to find the Leprechaun's micheivious hidden neon lair.
Welcome, brave seekers of fortune, to The Hidden Hollow – a secret leprechaun lair tucked away at the end of a forgotten rainbow, now pulsing with electric mischief under neon glows and black lights! A mischievous voice echoes from the gloom:

“Top o' the mornin' to ye, greedy mortals! I've hidden me pot o' gold where no mortal's ever found it – not even the cleverest among ye. But I've grown bored guardin' it alone in the dark. So I've rigged this lair with riddles, puzzles, and a fair bit o' trickery. Solve me puzzles, outwit me illusions, and claim the treasure before the black lights fade and the magic wears thin. Ye've got 45 minutes before the rainbow closes and ye're locked in till next St. Patrick's Day. The clues are glowin' right in front of ye – if ye've the eyes to see 'em."
