If you’ve followed us from the very start, you’ll probably remember our sweet Raymond. 🩶
Raymond started this journey with us nearly a year and a half ago, and it didn’t take him long to steal the hearts of so many. He’s old, he’s gentle, and he LOVES his treats.
Back over the winter, Raymond started acting a little unlike himself. I couldn’t really explain what was wrong, I just knew something wasn’t right. So, with not much more than that to give our vet, I made an appointment. Unfortunately, we got some really hard news that day… The “C” word.
After that, I decided Raymond’s time with the petting zoo needed to come to an end. And while I know he would LOVE to still be out there getting spoiled with treats by all of you, we just want him home now— Where he can be spoiled by us and live out the rest of his life as easily, comfortably, and happily as possible.
He has a special diet these days, gets plenty of love, and is still one of the first ones to come to Mom every single time I walk outside.
We LOVE our Raymond, and I know so many of you who have met him over the last year do, too. I realized I never really shared why you stopped seeing his sweet face at our events, so this update is long overdue.
Our sweet old man is still here. Still happy. Still loved beyond measure. He’s just officially retired. 🩶
