We’ve had the pleasure of welcoming several Sherman College of Chiropractic students for shadowing recently. Today, Naiya joined me to learn how we support families with infant feeding. She graduates in December and is pursuing additional pediatric certifications. We’re excited to cheer her on as she prepares to care for children and families! 💛

I love this collaboration with the school and the opportunity to help future providers better understand infant feeding and the families behind it.

Thank you for spending the day with us, Naiya! We can’t wait to see all the wonderful things ahead for you! 🫶

The Feeding Circle is tomorrow! 🍂

Join us this Saturday, October 3, from 9:00–10:30 a.m. for infant feeding support and time with other parents.

🌻 Free weight checks and weighted feeds
🌻 A lactation consultant available for general feeding questions
🌻 A relaxed space to connect with other moms

The Feeding Circle is open to the community and no reservation is needed. Just walk in with your baby. We’d love to see you! 💛

Today’s accomplishments:

✅ Kept a tiny human fed.
✅ Provided approximately one million cuddles.
✅ Contributed to six spectacular baby rolls.

If these walls could talk… 🫶

They’d tell you stories of weighted feeds, bottles and pumps, slow weight gain, healing, breastfeeding wins, and parents learning to understand their babies a little better.

Sometimes families need a new feeding plan. Sometimes they need intervention. Sometimes they simply need reassurance that what they’re doing is working.

No two families who sit on these couches need exactly the same thing.

A thousand little feeding stories live here, and we’re so grateful to be part of them.

Closing out Semana de la Lactancia Latina with so much pride. 🇵🇷🤎

As a Hispanic IBCLC, it is such an honor to support families through their feeding journeys and to be able to provide that care in both English and Spanish.

Lactancia is more than feeding. It can carry our culture, our families, our traditions, our stories, and our raíces.
