Dance and Fitness Classes Art In Motion brings affordable movement classes to Reno, Sparks and Washoe County areas. Most classes are monthly and ongoing.

We offer a variety of classes in many locations for ages 2-adult. Check out our schedule of classes to find the perfect class for you by going to artinmotion-reno.com Tuition fees vary with each facility. Art In Motion offers one and two subject dance classes, workshops, fitness classes and outreach performances. Students can join anytime unless it is right before a recital. We offer two recitals

, Holiday and Spring! We also offer performance opportunities in our Youth and Teen Performance Groups. Both groups perform in outreach projects as well as competitions.

What a FUN way to officially kick off our new season! We loved welcoming all of our new team members and celebrating our returning dancers who are back for another year with us! We’re missing a few faces in the photo, but we still love them, too!

The Fall Schedule has DROPPED!

As summer comes to a close, we’re looking forward to another wonderful season at Art In Motion! We hope you’ve enjoyed a fun and restful break, and we can’t wait to welcome our dancers back to the studio.

Classes resume the week of August 10th at all AIM locations.

If you still need to register, join us for our In-Person Registration Days at our Sparks location on August 3rd & 4th from 4:00–7:00 PM. As a thank-you, you’ll receive $10 off your annual registration fee when you register in person.

We’re so excited for another year of growth, friendships, and unforgettable moments. Enjoy these final days of summer, and we’ll see you very soon! 💜🩰

This week’s camps at AIM are wrapped and they were a BLAST! Our Acro and Disney Campers were so fun to work with.

We love that these dancers are still putting in the work over summer and having fun!

That’s a wrap on our first summer camp of July—and WOW, Audition Camp was so much fun! 🤩

This group came in on fire and ready to learn. It was amazing to see so much progress in just a few days, and they’re ready to rock their auditions this weekend!

Our biggest theme was this: we’re not just choosing great dancers—we’re choosing great teammates. Dance teaches so much more than technique, and we love helping our dancers build the character, confidence, and teamwork that will serve them both in and out of the studio.

We’re so proud of this incredible group and can’t wait to see everyone else this weekend, too! Good luck, dancers! 💜✨

Sydney Moulton has been dancing with Art in Motion for 14 years. Her kindness, talent, and easy-going personality make her an amazing student and teammate!

As our season is officially coming to a close next week with Nationals, we wanted to recognize our 3 special SENIORS!

First up, is Kaitlyn Bahmiller. Kaitlyn has been dancing with Art in Motion for 15 years. In these 15 years, Kaitlyn has inspired all of us with her big smile, her stage presence, and kind heart.

Kaitlyn, we are so proud of you and we look forward to seeing what’s next! 💜

Do you have a dancer who may be interested in taking their dance training to the next level? Our competitive dance team could be a great fit! 💃🕺

At AIM, we pride ourselves on creating a dance team experience that is tailored to each individual family. We offer flexible options — whether your dancer wants to go all in or simply try one or two opportunities to start. Being part of a team is also a fun way for dancers to build friendships, grow in confidence, and share experiences together!

We welcome dancers of ALL skill levels, ages 5 and up.

Any dancer interested in auditioning must attend ONE of the following informational meetings with a parent or guardian:

July 7th | 6:00–7:00 PM
July 8th | 6:00–7:00 PM
During these meetings, we’ll cover everything you need to know before making any big decisions. If you’re still on the fence, attending a meeting is a great first step!

If you’re unable to attend either meeting or the audition date, please reach out to us to discuss other available options.
