To All Our Valued Guests and Friends,
It is with humble gratitude and heavy hearts that we share that we will be closing our doors on Friday, May 10. This has been a very difficult and emotional decision, and we are so sad to say goodbye!
We have LOVED serving you, and getting to know you, over the last 2 and a half years. We have made friends that have become family, and we are so incredibly grateful for that.
There are no words that clearly express the love and gratitude we feel for our manager, Lexi, and all of our wonderful staff - past and present. We have been so stinkin’ lucky to have such an awesome crew. They have worked so hard to keep the vision alive. We realize how rare it is to find such a committed, hardworking, talented, and friendly staff. We really became a family. You all are amazing. Lexi - you truly gave your all, and infused the cafe with your love, care, and talent - we will never be able to thank you enough for all you’ve done.
We give immeasurable thanks to everyone who has supported us; whether you’ve been a customer since the beginning, or you’ve just found us. We are so grateful for your continued support and loyalty.
This is a bittersweet time for us, and a difficult transition, to say the least! What an incredible journey it has been.
We also want to give many thanks to all the local vendors we have been lucky enough to work (and become great friends) with! Gran-Val Scoop, LLC, Sandman's Wild Blueberries, , , , , , and , , to name a few! Please keep supporting these wonderful places!! And so much gratitude to , for always providing us with the most beautiful photos of our space, and our people!
Thank you to Ed Hepburn, Steve Ferrari, Les Smith, Taylor Kemp, and TR Despard, who believed in us and our crazy vision, and helped us build it from the ground up.
Once again, our deepest gratitude with our very best and most sincere wishes. We hope you all pop into Nutmeg’s or Sunflower Yoga to say hi - most of us are there, too! We will miss you all so much, and will carry the treasured memories of Sunflower Smoothie Cafe with us always.
Yours sincerely and with peace, love, and smoothies always,
Meg, Tyler, Lexi, and the whole Sunflower Smoothie Fam
p.s. It would make our day if you’d share your favorite cafe memory, or favorite go-to order below! Let us know if you’d like any of our smoothie recipes, we’re happy to share. xoxo
