A Zumba session lasts about an hour and incorporates several dance styles, including cumbia, merengue, salsa, reggaeton, mambo, rumba, belly dancing, flamenco, and calypso, hip-hop and Salsaton. The Latin music includes both fast and slow rhythms, allowing for

Increased strength: When you dance you repeat movement over and over again, working the same muscle groups, this repetitive movement will strengthen these muscles.
