Our new batches for Bharanatyam Jr. (Level 1) & BN Tots 1 are now being offered at our Chantilly studio by our esteemed guruji - Priti Gupta-Udeshi

Our class starts with a warm-up, manadala’s, Tatta, Natta & Paraval adavus, followed by slokas singing and choreography.

Bhedam, History and Classical dances of India are part syllabus for our biannual Medal Tests.

Balance, motor co-ordination, use of core and muscle tone is all learnt in a fun yet disciplined manner.

We practise an amalgamation of the Kalakshetra & Tanjavur Banis.

Happy International Dance Day : April 29th
And a Happy 5th Anniversary to Saanwee Performing Arts (since 2016)

It is a day to celebrate the one of most beautiful forms of communication.

The world has been celebrating International Dance Day since 1982, UNESCO, founded the day dedicating it to the universality of this art form. It was decided that International Dance Day would be celebrated every year on 29 April, the birthday of Jean-Georges Noverre (1727-1810), the creator of modern ballet.

Priti Gupta-Udeshi, founder and director of Saanwee Performing Arts, has always had a close connection to this day. Her first company DanceSport India (2008-2013) was also founded on International Dance Day - April 29th.

Enjoy this day and keep dancing!
