A huge thank you to the Community Foundation for the Alleghenies for the PA Arts Recovery Grant. This funding allows us to start filming a project very close to my heart—one I both wrote and scored. In addition to filming I've written a brand new EP that I'll be releasing alongside of the film to compliment the visuals.
We’ll be filming all throughout Bedford County, highlighting the local actors and the natural beauty of our Appalachian home and local destinations. Excited to start and share this new vision!

Creative grantee spotlight! 🌟 Matt Otis is a multidisciplinary artist and educator whose creative business merges cinema, original music, and social advocacy to tell stories with a purpose. Based in Bedford, Pennsylvania, Otis utilizes a "hyper-local" production model that empowers regional talent and leverages the natural beauty of landmarks throughout Central Pennsylvania. Otis is a recent recipient of the PA Arts and Culture Recovery Grant for Working Artists, a $3,000 grant for artists and creative entrepreneurs who experienced a significant pandemic-related disruption to their income. This grant will allow Otis to compensate the local actors and crew working on his films, fostering a sustainable ecosystem for regional filmmaking. 🎬 Looking for unique filming locations in Pennsylvania!

Thanks Somerset for such a wonderful evening at this years Chalk the Block! The thunderstorm held off after all! Our saxophonist and dear friend Alec Zander Redd will be moving to Minnesota for the upcoming year for college, but we are looking forward to many more jams when they return🤞! Alec you are an awesome musician, friend and human!
