Friends,

I hope you’ll join me this Thursday from 5–8 PM for the Snohomish Art Walk and the reprise of my Pride art show at Stilig Studio. 120 Avenue A, second story (stairs only).

To be honest, I’ve been a little quieter lately. I’ve been dealing with some health challenges, including dreadful & persistent migraines, and spending less time on my phone and more time crocheting, resting, and taking things one day at a time. (I’ve included a few recent crochet projects because they’ve been bringing me a lot of comfort lately.)

My first show during Snohomish Pride landed on one of the rainiest days imaginable, so turnout was a bit sparse—but I was deeply grateful for the friends who braved the weather, showed up, and even took a few pieces home with them. Knowing my artwork gets to live in someone’s home is one of the greatest gifts an artist can receive.

This Thursday is a second chance to see the work, including my original Snohomish Pride poster painting. If you’ve been meaning to stop by, I’d truly love to see you.

Thank you to everyone who has supported my art, encouraged me, checked in on me, and cheered me on this year. It means more than you know.

😍😍😍 my favorite piece so far that I’ve made for my Pride collection. In case you missed it, my colorful art show is coming up right after the Snohomish Pride parade on June 6th at Stilig Studio in downtown Snohomish! 🌈✨

I’ve been pouring my whole heart into this collection — bold colors, joyful chaos, rainbow magic, and lotstt of Kabonk energy (see 2nd slide for my crazy neon painted-paper collage-material creations). Throwback Tuesday 😆 I painted this for an ex and gave it to him on this day in 2014 — 12 years ago!! I was a bit lost in that era of my life. A very drunk waitress who was forgetting my passion for painting, and allowing myself to be disrespected by almost everyone in my life due to my own lack of self respect. This painting was made and gifted in effort to win the love that I had long sought and now have with my wonderful husband, Eric. And yes, I also love myself.
