I’m Billie Liao, the artist behind DragonBeak, a name inspired by my high school dragon demon hybrid sorcerer OC. My preferred medium is digital art, using the same hardware I do as a professional animator. t to our community and keep my products as local as possible. Since early youth, I’ve had a ravenous appetite for drawing and a hunger for after school cartoons and late-night anime. Inspired to follow the American Dream, I forsook the path of STEM to study animation at SCAD. After graduation, I was fortunate to land my first job in Atlanta’s growing entertainment industry. Many TV shows, films, and a couple games later, I continue to create my personal art to satiate my creative sanity, which I now present to you for commerce. Thank you for stopping by!

Whew! Last Saturday at DTL CON-Quest I almost sold out of my Amazing Digital Circus buttons, so I wanted to share my new designs online!

After episode 8, I was inspired to finish the cast and added Kinger, Zooble, Gangle, and a few costumes, like Evil Pomni and Maid Jax. I'd avoided Kinger, Zooble, and Gangle for a long time since I wasn't sure how to turn them into eggs, but I'm happy with the results!

I really enjoyed the K-Pop Demon Hunters McDonald's collab so I had to celebrate their meals in pixel art form!

I probably ate too many McNuggets trying to chase all those photocards. Were you able to collect them all?

As a game developer on Ulitma Online, I've been learning how to create pixel art! I used to find pixels very intimidating, but I've learned to enjoy the challenges of the small canvas.

So I've begun exploring pixel art as a medium for still life, referencing photos I've taken of my food adventures around the metropolitan Atlanta area.

This was my very first study, of a meal I had at Jeju Sauna cafeteria. My regular order is tteokbokki!

I'll have to share more studies with y'all soon! I'm hoping to have these as a series of small prints at upcoming markets.

I've donated a framed "Please Ask Do Tell" risograph print to the Smyrna Pride Comedy Show hosted this Saturday!

My piece will be available in their silent auction fundraiser, proceeds go to Smyrna Pride's mission of celebrating Smyrna’s LGBTQ+ residents and allies by creating community and building partnerships founded in social equality.

🌸Spring is here🌸 and with the azaleas in bloom, I thought it'd be a good time to introduce my new Gothic Lo**ta girls, now including frogs! 🐸

After many requests, I've added amphibians to my roster of lizards and snakes. They'll be available as both vinyl stickers and blind box acrylic charms at my art booth. Check out my pinned post for my schedule.
