Banquet tickets will be available for sale beginning Tuesday through Friday evening. As a reminder, marching band students will eat for free. Additional tickets for family, etc. will be $10 per person. Menu will be chicken & dumplings, mashed potatoes, green beans and roll (catered by Patty’s) and banana pudding (provided by Keith and I) or cookies and choice of water, tea, or lemonade. Gluten free option of grilled chicken is available, but I will need to know ahead of time to get a head count. STUDENTS, please get with Mr. Don and let him know if you plan on attending, again for a head count. If you have any questions, please reach out to me or any Booster. Tuesday afternoon practice, I will be there afterwards with the tickets for purchase. We will accept cash, check or Venmo.

Hey band!
It is once again time for our yearly band banquet! Saturday, April 20th from 5-8 at the DCHS Cafeteria. Dress is Sunday best/formal. Meal tickets will go on sale this Monday and be due no later than Friday, April 12th. Meal and prices TBD. As a reminder, this is only open to current marching band students, their immediate family, and significant other (boyfriend/girlfriend). Good Morning Band Family,

It is about that time to kick off another season. I cannot wait to see what we accomplish this season. Here are some important dates. Detailed information will be given out at the Meet and Greet. Our Theme This year Is “Heart and Soul”. Celebrating the Music of Motown.

7/3-6 pm-Parent/Guardian/Student meet and greet in band room

7/5-7-Percussion Camp 9-noon

7/10-14 and 17-21-Band Camp from 9-6. Breakfast will be provided at 8:30 by school and lunch. I will need to know who will be eating breakfast and lunch so I can give them a headcount. I will have a sign up sheet at the meet and greet.

7/21-after practice is Parent Night, where we show what we have done during camp.

Physical forms need to be completed and Mrs. Megan posted that in earlier post.

*****WATER******
Start drinking water now and continue it through camp. The water you intake today will be used tomorrow. Make sure you bring a water bottle to camp. Also no milk or soda during band camp. Want you to stay hydrated.

I am in Muncie Indiana a Ball State at the band Director symposium. Getting more training to set us up for another year of success.

Hey band!! Sorry for the delay, but we SHOULD have banquet tickets available for purchase beginning tomorrow at the concert, if not, by the end of the week. Please keep in mind that this banquet is for marching band students only, plus immediate family, etc. ALL MARCHING BAND STUDENTS WILL EAT FOR FREE. Family/additional tickets/those who wish to eat will be $12 each (and yes, we’ve unfortunately had to go up on prices as everything has). You do not need to purchase a ticket if you wish to attend but not eat. Final day for ticket sales will be next Wednesday, May 3rd, so we can have final numbers to the caterers. If you have any questions, feel free to message me directly.
