Thank you to all the seasonal workers who fill our little town each year. Thank you - for it takes a special kind of individual to be willing to leave their home, friends and family for five + months, to work at jobs requiring long hours with little time off. Thank you - your willingness to come to Sitka and work the summer season allows SO many businesses to thrive. Thank you - you brought renewed energy to our town. Thank you - may you fondly remembered your time in Sitka for years to come. Thank you - may safety be with each of you as you journey home or on to the next adventure. THANK YOU for your contribution to our small community.

Last day of the Annual Mud Ball Tournament. Stop by Sitka Swirls and grab the Mud Cup special and go enjoy the games at Moller Park. Not into that much chocolate (can’t imagine), substitute vanilla ice cream for a Dirt Cup. Enjoy the games!!
(At AC Lakeside until 5:30pm, Monday Sept 7)

So a customer dropped these by to me…again…love the customer kindness. Brought them home and explain to the husband how I came to have them. While taking care of end-of-day things, my husband proceeded to open them and try them. He popped one into my mouth, yum! Finished up my work and went to have a midnight snack on the crackers-TOO LATE-he ate the entire bag😜. Note to self: it’s okay to keep certain things from your spouse.
