I know it's almost the end of June, but here is my cover page! It's been done since the beginning but I forgot to share...whoops. but I love this page and I had so much fun painting all the titles!

On the left is my list calendar! I don't use the traditional block calendar bc this one fits in my journal better and my brain loves it hehe 💜

Any who, I hope everyone's having a great start to their summer! What are you most excited for? Currently I just wanna be inside...can I have fall back?

Welcome to my new obsession! And swipe to see a few of my favorite things in this stack. 😊

I recently got the first box in 's new Art Journaling experience and let me tell you, I definitely took step 1 to heart. "Create collage fodder with reckless abandon" = Check, and probably double check. 🤣 Thank you for encouraging us all to try new things, play, and find the joy. I have been absolutely loving every minute of this process - but now, I have one slight problem: what do I do with all this paper?

Each of these pages started with one or more layers from my gelli plate or from cleaning my brayer. I then added layers with stencils or just brush strokes to add some more pizzazz and its so much fun. I have at least 3 stacks of papers this size all in different color families/combos. If you ideas on what to use them for or would be interested in some collage paper, let me know - I need an excuse to make more without burying our house in paper...😬

Have you tried art journaling? I have been subscribed to the Let's Make Art subscription box for a while now and I really love the freedom it gives you to play. Plus each week, Jessie brings a new tutorial with prompts and techniques that can be applied in so many ways.
This page started with me trying a few patterns for an ocean watercolor palette I was working on. A few days later, I got curious what it would look like to add acrylic silhouette on top of watercolor backgrounds so this is where I currently am. I think the left side still needs something more but it will come in time.

Happy Mon-Tuesday! How do you combine or separate your work from personal in your bullet journal?

We took yesterday off to recovery from our traveling so today is our first day back to work...and therefore I am a day late with my weekly spread. I wanted something a little different for this week so I went back to a weekly layout that I haven't used in a while. This layout keeps all my tasks for the week on the left and then I can schedule them into my dailies as they fit. (Please note, that Monday and the weekend boxes have less space than the rest of the days bc I don't need to have my work schedule for those days!)

Today's bujo content for you is my memories page for the month! I like to have a spot for my memories in each setup. Usually its only half a page - but we are getting to see a lot of family this month so I wanted a little extra room. I also have a brain dump page opposite it just in case! 💜🥔

Happy Monday all! Last week I went back to my basic weekly layout. These boxes are super simple to set up and very functional. It was lots of room for notes, memories, and tasks. I like to pull this layout for weeks where I am short on time or just want something simple. 💜🥔

Happy WIP Wednesday :) Today I am showing *just a few* photos from my first collage paper making session! After watching a class by I collected a bunch of supplies from my stash and started some blue and yellow collage paper. This class was so much fun and I can't wait to make more in different palettes and patterns. If you need some fun and creative freedom I highly suggest taking this class and making collage paper. Also, did I mention that it is free?!? Amp up your creative flow and have some fun this week 😁

Happy June to you all! Today is my bujo post for today and its my June cover. This color palette was speaking to me last week! I had originally planned to have hot air balloons in my theme as well but these colors were just too perfect to add anything else hehe. I hope everyone had a wonderful Monday!

What is your favorite color on a house? I love a dark rich green on a wood siding house. Its my favorite and probably what caught my eye on this one (though its a little lighter than I usually go for). Hope you enjoy your weekend!

Do you guys like seeing the process of making some "finished" something?

I have been trying to think of new ways to keep myself motivated to post here and I have few weekly themes: Monday = bullet journal, Wednesday = work in progress shots, and Fridays are free for alls! As this is the first week I am trying it, we may have to adjust going forward but that is my plan.

For our first WIP Wednesday, I took a few progress shots of an urban sketch I worked on this weekend. First is the final sketch and then swipe to see a "step by step" AKA whenever I remembered to take a photo. I'm really excited with how this turned out and I hope you like it too. Do you prefer to see the finished product first or last? Let me know! 💜🥔

How do you come up with themes for your bujo? I have to admit that I was seriously struggling with my May theme for a bit before settling on here. Thankfully this month, inspo came from youtube videos. And I even tried some tabs thanks to . Even most of the way though the month I'm still not sure how I feel about the tabs. They are useful but I feel like they would be even better if they stuck out from the journal itself. (I may have to play around with this later) My bujo for the next 6 months is a different type and doesn't have the same weight paper so I'm not sure how well they will work there.
Also, I'm stoked for the collections theme I have for 2021 pt 2! 💜🥔

Another sketch for today. This was the first page in my new watercolor sketchbook. This cute little house caught my eye on Pinterest so I figured it was a good enough place to start.
