Life's Short Pentathlon was conceived as a way to bring friends together, to celebrate the lifestyle living in Colorado allows, to support local businesses, and to raise awareness about the ease of living a low impact, sustainable lifestyle. Life's Short 2017 pentathlon events are:
• 5k Fun Run
• 5k Enduro bike ride
• Inflatable Downriver Race - Ducky, Kayak, Tube, Shamu, etc...
• Stand Up Pad

• Log Splitting & Fire Building Mastery Demonstration
The race is a solo or 2 person relay race. Required equipment per team:
Bike - It's an enduro style trail with an ascent and a descent
Down River Race - Life Jacket(!) and Inflatable Kayak, Duckie, Tube, Wally Special or whatever will float you down a river...
Stand Up Paddleboard
Axe and / or Hatchet - Matches and wood will be provided by the event for the fire building mastery

It's going to be one for the books. Don't miss watching the event, and cheering on your friends who are competing. It's a tough race and every bit of support counts. All spectator tickets, which are available for $25 include complimentary admission to the Life's Short afterparty beginning at 5 pm with lineup TBA... The music won't stop until the last person drops, so put your big kid pants on and bring your friends! There's also a huge raffle for spectators only so come ready to win some rad prizes! Good times for everyone
