New Delta Music, LLC New Delta Music is transitioning to address the changing needs of musicians in the Upper Mississippi Delta.

New Delta Music was born to find, develop, and promote the songs and musicians who write and play them along the upper Mississippi River Delta. Musicians and songwriters along both sides of Mississippi River, from New Madrid, Missouri, to St. Louis, have never stopped reflecting on and celebrating their lives in song. There's folk who connect with this kind of authenticity in music and it seems there always will be, being an important part of the human experience. Our mission at New Delta Music is connect these two groups — the musicians who make music from the heart and those who love their music.

This is our mission

I find myself leaning more towards imperfections in recordings now because of the existence of Al. Mistakes, finger-fowls and wild vocal takes just feel so much more valuable now. Before, somehow everyone was seeking sonic conformity, and now it seems like we’re seeking things that sound human.

We are proud of this release and encourage everyone to give it a couple of listens
